Simply put, for example: PP/PE+70-85% CaCo3 powder+additives.

This saves more than 70% of the amount of PP/PE added, while maintaining the original rigidity, reducing shrinkage, and increasing specific gravity. This is one of the most common filling masterbatches.

Composition Of Filler Masterbatch

The filling masterbatch mainly consists of three parts:

Fillers: inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate, talc powder, and barium sulfate, with calcium carbonate accounting for over 80% of the total.

Carrier resin: usually 15%- 30%; common ones include polypropylene and polyethylene. Ensuring that the filler can be uniformly dispersed in the matrix resin.

Additives, such as white oil, paraffin wax, zinc stearate, etc., can improve the flowability of masterbatch processing. Beneficial for the more uniform dispersion of the masterbatch in the matrix resin, improving the adhesion and stability between the filler and the carrier resin.
