Extrusion process: Drying hopper→Extruder→Mould→Water tank→Tractor machine→Winder
Raw material pretreatment:
- PVC PU material is very sensitive to moisture, and raw materials that have not been dried can cause defects such as bubbles and poor welding in the finished product. Therefore, drying the raw materials is the first step in production
- Transport the dried raw materials to the extruder barrel through a closed vacuum feeder to avoid moisture absorption during transportation
Extrusion:
- The extruder is the core equipment of the production line. The high-precision screw uniformly heats and plasticizes the PU raw material in the barrel, and pushes the molten raw material towards the mold head through the rotation of the screw
- The professional PU tracheal extruder uses Siemens drive motors and high-precision temperature control systems to control temperature errors within ± 1 ℃
- The screw is made of nitride alloy steel to ensure long-term wear resistance and dimensional stability during production
- The raw materials are ultimately molded through extrusion molds, which are made of high-precision S136 steel
- The tolerance between the mouth mold and the core rod is controlled within 0.01mm to ensure the accuracy of the inner and outer diameters of the pipe
Cooling and setting:
- The newly extruded PU pipe has a high temperature and requires rapid and uniform cooling to stabilize its size
- By using multi-stage negative pressure control and circulating water temperature zoning regulation, high-temperature pipes can be quickly and uniformly shaped after leaving the mold
Traction and cutting:
- After cooling and shaping, the pipe material needs to be pulled out at a constant speed by a traction machine, and the traction speed must be accurately matched with the extrusion speed. If the speed is too fast, the pipe wall will become thinner, and if the speed is too slow, the pipe wall will become thicker
- The traction machine adopts a high-precision ball guide and a variable frequency control system, and the fluctuation of the traction force is controlled within a very small range
- The cutting process uses high-speed rotating cutting tools to accurately cut according to the preset length, ensuring a flat and vertical cut and facilitating subsequent joint installation
Low investment, simple equipment operation, and more suitable for start-up factories. It’s not the pipes that make money, it’s the ‘non-stop machines’.
