The exhibition we are leading this time mainly focuses on screw elements, barrels, and screws, these accessories.

At the exhibition, I met many new customers and also had some old friends to discuss.

Among them, the most common issues for new customers are the precision of accessories and whether they can replicate them. Here, let’s have a brief chat.

 

 

1. Accuracy issues with extruder accessories? Example: Screw element

Common extruder screw elements have an industry standard of ± 0.1mm, which includes the outer diameter, inner diameter, involute spline, and so on of the screw. The process of these screw elements is based on turning milling composite.

If you want higher precision, we can offer a grinding process (accuracy within a 300mm stroke, the variation in lead is ≤± 50 μ m), but the price will increase.

And provide surface treatments such as polishing, sandblasting, etc.

2. Can we copy the accessories? For example, a screw element.

Yes, any brand thread element can be customized (common brands: Coperion/Leistriz/Kraussmaffei/JSW/Farrel Pomini)

Basic customization information: Material requirements, quantity, and process requirements are required. Samples or detailed drawings are required during production.
