Measure the extruder screw elements

When you encounter uneven discharge, abnormal color, and decreased quality from the extruder, we should check whether the screw or cylinder is worn and requires daily replacement and simple maintenance.

Origin of equipment:

Firstly, we should observe the nameplate of the machine to understand its place of origin, specifically which country or region it is from.

There are two types of extruder accessories in China: industry standard and non-standard:

How to determine if it is an industry standard? Need to measure:

1: Measure the length. Normally, the length is not worn out, and we only need a micrometer for a simple measurement

2: Outer diameter. If there is internal wear and tear, there is no need to worry; just take a photo and measure the corresponding position size.

3: Inner diameter.

4: Count it, how many teeth does it have?

After we receive your photos, we will inform the client based on our experience whether this is a Chinese industry standard or non-standard.

Industry standard, commonly available in stock. If there is no stock available, processing only takes 7-15 days.
